A little about, Aquascaping
Now you've gathered your rocks, acquired some driftwood and
decided on plants or no plants.
It's really rather easy to get started with. Use your imagination
and creativity, try all the layouts you can think of. Normally
a big centerpiece such as a large rock or piece of driftwood
in the middle of the tank is a great way to start aquascaping.
It's your tank anyway, so do what you like. Put the plants in
front, place the wood behind. Make sure it suits your taste
or liking, or else you would not feel good about it when you
admiring your tank.
For myself, the most important rule is to put smaller objects
in the front leading up to tall plants at the back. Short, bushy
plants such as Sagittaria species should stay in the foreground,
while large big-leaved plants such as the Amazon Sword plant
(Echinodorus amazonicus) should go to the back. |
