The World of Filter media
Different types and their uses!

Filter media is the core of any filtration system. If they are not placed in a correct order, filtration would not be efficient or problems may arise. Each media has it's purpose and job to do. For example, 'O' rings that are used to colonise beneficial bacteria cannot be used as the primary mechanical filtration media to trap dirt and debris. It won't be capable of that and cannot do that too.

A little commonsense and understanding of each media's purpose and usage can you do a proper placement of your filter media.
