The 5th National Discus Competition was a 7 day event held at Bukit Timah Plaza from the 13th - 19th of March 2002.

On the 13th was the benching day, 14th was judging & presentation. The next few days were for the public to view the fishes. There were 56 competition tanks in total.

I got there on the 16th and I had no time to view the fishes. Hehe, I was busy with taking pictures for you people! There were Luo Hans and Bettas too. Luo Hans are a kind of cichlid with red bellies.

There were 9 classes of Discus competing:

Class 1 : Solid Blue

Class 2 : Solid Red

Class 3 : Solid Yellow

Class 4 : Spotted form

Class 5 : Pattern - Thick lines

Class 6 : Pattern - Thin lines

Class 7 : Striped form - Thick line

Class 8 : Striped form - Thin line

Class 9 : Unspecified
